Abstract
Owners of buildings constructed during the construction boom of the 1950s to 1980s have a responsibility (and in some cases an obligation) to renovate their property to reduce energy consumption. For certain owners with several buildings in their portfolio, the question of prioritizing renovation work can become a major challenge.

The Excel tool developed by HEPIA and made available as part of RENOWAVE enables owners to produce an initial assessment of the order in which the problem should be tackled, and of the cost of each operation. It allows them to do this independently, at a lower cost, without the need to hire an real estate professional or to use portfolio assessment softwares, often too complex and sophisticated to meet this need at first instance.
