DESCRIPTION

The Conference of Cantonal Energy Directors (EnDK) gathers the 26 members of the cantonal governments dealing with energy issues. It is thus a joint energy competence center of the cantons. It promotes and coordinates the cooperation between the cantons in energy matters and represents the common interests of the cantons. Among others, the goals of EnDK are to reduce the energy demand in the building sector, and cover the needs by renewables and waste heat; to set up a national building renovation program under the supervision of the cantons and in cooperation with the economy and the federal government; and to make sure to have actions and not only theoretical discussions when it comes to energy.

CONTRIBUTION IN RENOWAVE

ENDK will be involved in the sounding board and in the formulation of policy recommendations in Subproject 3.1 “Innovative financial instruments for building retrofit”.
