Raffeisen Switzerland is the densest bank branch network in the country. Raffeisen offers benefits to entrepreneurs to promote innovation and growth, and in the building sector, the bank develops new financing instruments for residential retrofit.

CONTRIBUTION IN RENOWAVE

Raiffeisen Bank with their R&D-team is involved in Subproject 1.1 “Boosting municipal decisions through participative policy analysis” providing not only their expertise, but also the access to 3-4 of their local branch banks, all equipped with know-how about the local finance situation and many network connections to building owners willing to renovate. They can provide direct access to local owner-data, local SME-networks, local energy consultants and their specifically relevant target to start the participative policy analysis processes. Raiffeisen Switzerland will also make a significant contribution to the development of Subproject 3.1 “Innovative financial instruments for building retrofit” and facilitate the envisaged pilot project in French-speaking Switzerland, with the help of their building portfolio.
