DESCRIPTION

The Environmental and Energy department of the city of St. Gallen is committed to a healthy environment and the sustainable and efficient use of energy in its city. The department provide information and advice, initiates projects and carries out statutory enforcement tasks. Their work focuses on the objectives and measures of the Energy Strategy 2050, the Environmental Concept and the Mobility Strategy 2040.

CONTRIBUTION IN RENOWAVE

SG-City is involved in Subproject 1.1 “Boosting municipal decisions through participative policy analysis” as case studies/pilot cases and is a partner to build up and validate model processes. SG-City is also an implementation partner in Subproject 2.4 “Decision support instruments combining geo and building data” as it provides extensive energy and building data by using its experience and know-how in renovation of buildings.
