SGNI - Swiss sustainable building council Association / Federation Zurich - Zurich,Switzerland
DESCRIPTION
The Swiss sustainable building council SGNI is a non-profit association founded in 2010 with the aim of promoting the sustainability of real estate and the built environment in Switzerland along the entire life cycle in planning, construction, operation and use.
The members of the SGNI are therefore equally planners, engineers, architects, facility managers as well as developers, investors and users. They work together and in an interdisciplinary manner to drive the Swiss real estate industry into a sustainable future.
SGNI also offers the Swiss DGNB certification system for buildings.
CONTRIBUTION IN RENOWAVE
SGNI promotes sustainability for real estate and the built environment, along the entire life cycle. As SGNI is also focused on defining indicators and thresholds for providing a certificate for buildings, it is an important source of inspiration for the development of the decision- making tool in Subproject 1.4 “Life Cycle Sustainability & resilience assessment of solutions”.
