DESCRIPTION

The environmental and health department of the City of Zurich is committed to the health and quality of life of the population. The aim of the department is to protect the environment and preserve the natural resources in the city of Zurich. Its dedication is a sustainable city oriented towards the goals of the 2000-Watt society, decarbonisation of the Swiss building Stock and Net-Zero strategy 2040. ZH-City has a construction and energy efficiency department which advises architects and planners regarding energy regulations, as well as energy efficiency optimization.

CONTRIBUTION IN RENOWAVE

The City of Zurich will significantly contribute to the financing of the risk modelling in Subproject 3.1 “Innovative financial instruments for building retrofit”.
